Like the Original offers free standard curbside delivery (Small Parcel & Self Service Truck Delivery) on all items shipping within the Contiguous 48 States. The price you see in the shopping cart is the price you pay! Beware of companies who mask their shipping charges and surprise you with prohibitive shipping and handling fees or extreme oversize charges at the end of the checkout process. Make sure you know the total cost of your purchase when shopping around. We keep it simple-our pricing is straightforward and all-inclusive, which saves you time and energy.

Where do you ship to?
In our regular service we currently ship only to the 48 contiguous United States. Canada, Alaska, Hawaii and non-domestic based APO/FPO locations are currently still excluded from our regular delivery. However as a special service we ship orders to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and internationally. If you would like to have an order shipped outside the 48 contiguous United States, please email us with the following information:


We can arrange a personalized, competitive quote for freight charges through our freight forwarder. Please note that your order must be over $5.000 to qualify for freight forwarding. You may alternatively have your order shipped to a domestic freight forwarder of your choice for shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and internationally by entering the freight forwarder's address in the "Enter Shipping Address" section of the checkout process.

Can I pick up my furniture?
Unfortunately, we cannot currently offer the option to pick-up at any location.

When will I receive my items?
Many products in our collection are custom made to order for you, hence it takes a little longer than a trip to the high-street. But be assured that you will get the finest quality design at prices much lower than in the high-street, so we think it's worth the wait! We aim for your items to arrive at your door between 2-12 weeks from when you place your order, depending on the availability of your products.

Tracking Your Order
Once you've placed an order, just log in to 'My account' and next go to 'Order History' where you'll see the products you've purchased with information where it is. When your order ships, you will receive an email with shipping and tracking information. You can then use your tracking number on the carrier's website to trace your order. We also list your tracking number with your order detail; check the status in 'My account'.

If I order several items, will they be delivered at the same time?
It depends. Our furniture is produced in a number of different factories, and could arrive at the warehouses at different times. In that case it is likely that products are not delivered at the same time.

Can I change my delivery date?
Yes, the delivery date of your order can often be changed up until we prepare your order for delivery, usually 72 hours before your delivery date. To change the date of delivery, contact our Customer Care Team using your order number.

It's been longer than 12 weeks and you still haven't received your order - what should you do?
Firstly, we'd like to apologize. We work hard, together with our manufacturing facilities, to make sure you receive your items as soon as they are produced. But if it has been longer than this and you haven't heard from us (we'll normally keep you informed if we believe there will be any delays), please log in to your account to track your items, or get in touch with us and we'll tell you the latest information known.

Can I change my delivery address?
Yes, that is possible. If you need to change the address you'd like your products delivered to, just contact our Customer Care Team and we'll update your details. You can do this at any time before your items are dispatched for delivery. If your items have already been dispatched, you may be charged for arranging redelivery.

How can I contact the delivery company?
Our delivery companies will ideally contact you to arrange delivery, but if you have any questions, or remarks with regard to the delivery simply get in touch with us.

How will my order ship?
We will ship your order using the fastest, safest, and most reliable methods possible. Therefore, we have established strong relationships with some of the best delivery companies nationwide. Every product on our site has been carefully selected to ship by a particular shipping method in order to provide you with an optimal delivery experience. When your order ships, you will be notified via email. Included in your email will be a tracking number for your shipment. We encourage you to track your order online or on the phone with the carrier. Most companies can provide an estimated delivery date and time. Be sure to contact us if anything seems unusual with the progress of the shipment. You can also track your packages via 'My Account'.

We currently have three methods of shipment available:
#1. Small Parcel Delivery (Standard - FREE);
#2. Self Service Truck Delivery and (Standard - FREE);
#3. White Glove Delivery.

#1. Small Parcel Delivery - We will ship smaller, lighter items mainly via UPS, FEDEX, DHL or USPS. Depending on how close you are to the shipping warehouse, your item will arrive between 1 and 8 business days (1 to 10 business days for USPS) after it leaves the warehouse. We do not require an adult signature for these deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." Be sure to include your name and tracking number on the note.

#2.Self Service Truck Delivery - Many items on our website are too large or heavy to ship via UPS/FedEx, so they are shipped via Truck Delivery. Truck Delivery is different than standard UPS, FedEx, or US Mail. Once your merchandise arrives at the delivery agent's local terminal, the agent will call you to set up a 2- to 4-hour appointment for delivery. Most truck delivery companies offer appointment windows between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. If you choose Self Service Truck Delivery, your items will be delivered to the driveway or curb outside of your address. It's "Self Service" because you'll need to move the package off of the truck yourself. You may want a friend or family member on hand for help.
Liftgate Services. For an additional fee, our delivery service partners will use a machine called a liftgate to bring the items to the ground for you. This additional fee will then include all the items in your cart. Sometimes freight carriers offer their own additional services. Once we send you your tracking info, you can call the carrier directly to get more info.
Damage Inspection. Please make sure that you inspect the packages at the time of delivery. If the packaging has any damage, or if there is any reason you are concerned with its packaging or delivery, please write, "Product Damaged" clearly on the sheet the delivery agent asks you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.

3# White Glove Delivery - Many large or fragile items may be delivered by a White Glove freight carrier to ensure the safest and most convenient delivery. If you would like to use our White Glove Delivery service, please get in touch with our Customer Care Team. They will be happy to arrange this Delivery Service for you. Please email to: help@liketheoriginal.com and provide your order number and other details you deem necessary. White glove works similarly to truck freight, but a delivery team of at least two people brings your items into your home for you. Please note: Once your order arrives in your area, a representative from the White Glove carrier will call you to arrange a (usually) 4 hour window for delivery.

Front Door Delivery
Delivery to: Inside the threshold of your residence. Your product will be delivered to your front entrance. The product will not be carried up stairs inside the home. If you live in an apartment above the first floor of a building, we recommend upgrading to Inside Delivery or Inside Delivery with Packaging Removal.
Assembly Service: None
Packaging: The product will be left in the original packaging.
Cost: $99,00

Inside Delivery
Delivery to: Inside your residence to the room of choice. This includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). If you need the product moved up additional flights, please contact us.
Assembly Service: None
Packaging: The product will be left in the original packaging.
Cost: $199,00

Inside Delivery with Packaging Removal
Delivery to: Inside your residence to the room you choose. This includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). If you need the product moved up additional flights, please contact us.
Assembly Service: The shipper will unpack the product and provide basic setup that requires no tools (i.e. set pieces next to each other, or on top of each other).
Packaging: The shipper will remove and dispose of all packaging.
Cost: $249,00

Inside Delivery with Assembly Service
Delivery to: Inside your residence to the room you choose. This includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). If you need the product moved up additional flights, please contact us.
Assembly Service: The shipper will unpack the product and provide light setup that requires basic tools (i.e. pieces will be screwed or bolted together, set pieces next to each other, or on top of each other).
Packaging: The shipper will remove and dispose of all packaging.
Cost: $299,00

Please note: All standard deliveries are for free until further notice. White glove services will be available at an extra charge. Please note: In all cases the shipper will not hook up any electrical or component wires. Having items carried up more than 25 steps and longer assembly periods are available as additional services which would require additional charges. Please contact us if you feel you need these services.

Delivery Time
For Small Parcel shipments within the United States, delivery usually takes between 1 and 6 business days (except for USPS which ships in 1-10 business days) after your order is picked up from the warehouse. For expedited services such as 3-day, 2nd Day or Next Day Air, your order's travel time is locked in to the given speed you select after the item leaves the warehouse. You should remember that the estimated Lead Time still applies before the item ships out. Be sure to consult the product's Lead Time before you order with expedited shipping, and call us if you have any questions or concerns.

For Truck Freight shipments, delivery usually takes between 3 and 6 days from when your order ships. For residential deliveries, you will be contacted for an appointment as soon as your order arrives at the local terminal. For commercial deliveries, no appointment will be made. If you need to make one, please contact us.

For White Glove shipments, delivery usually takes between 1 and 4 weeks from the time the items leave the warehouse. Your order will travel through a nationwide network of professional moving companies who will handle your item(s) with the utmost care. You will be contacted for a delivery appointment when your order reaches the delivery agent. Although the items are handled carefully throughout transit, we require that our orders undergo a thorough inspection at the delivery agent before delivery. We take extra steps to make sure your item is delivered in perfect condition.
